Bagger Dave's

Hey Kids!  Loud Guy here. I stopped by a relatively new place in my hometown of Brighton, MI on Friday. Bagger Dave's is a local Michigan chain, with their specialty being really really good burgers. But, their bar is a maniacal romp through local Michigan Beers.  Let me list a few brewers on their menu:

• Bell's (K-zoo)
• Founders (Grand Rapids)
• Frankenmuth 
• Mt. Pleasant
• Short's (NW Lower Peninsula)
• Michigan Brewing Company (Webberville)
• New Holland

Holy selection, Batman, that's a lot of great beers!  If you're in Michigan, I highly recommend a "build your own burger" with the spicy artichoke spread and a sampling of one of these great beers.

Howdy THHG Folks. Loud Guy Here. Spent the evening at the 14th Annual Michigan Summer Beer Festival with the new Science Guy.  Much video to edit and upload later, but here are some picts to wet your appetite. Lots of beer to love here (62 breweries, about 150 beers). The ones that stuck out for us were: Bell's Batch 9000, Arcadia's Shipwreck Porter, Original Gravity's Barrel Aged Bellywasher, Wolverine State's Garden Weasel, Founder's All Day IPA, Short's Bloody Beer, and Dark Horse's Raspberry Ice Black.  But you really can't go wrong anywhere at the Festival.

The Guys are back at Founders Brewing in Grand Rapids MI to spend a little time in their terrific taproom - a place where community rules, the beer is epic, and everyone drinks together.

The GreatTrail O Beer takes the Guys to Grand Rapids, Michigan, where they find a Brewery making toe-curlingly great beer in a terrific setting.
