Good Beer Faucets, Shibuya, Tokyo!

In the Shibuya district of Tokyo, a gem of a beer bar, Good Beer Faucets - featuring some 40 taps (many local Japanese micros including Baird and Minoh, European and American craft) great food and a fun location. Look for it shining on the second floor just across the road from the Bunkamura Performing Arts Center in Shibuya.

Every day sees new options on tap - at the moment, we're enjoying a Moylan's Barrel Aged Wet Hopsickle, thousands of miles from home. It's redolent of grapefruit, zesty and terrific.

You can order by the pint or half-pint to keep your intake (and bill) down, and they have an expansive food menu with both western & eastern items, free wifi - in short, we love it here!

- I'll be doing 8 shows a week in Tokyo for 3 weeks, then a week in Osaka.  And while there, we will be getting a feel for what Craft Bevs and Spirits (and SAKE!) are doing in the Land of the Rising Sun.  Stay tuned here to Happy Hour Nation, where I'll be posting about the great New and Traditional Craft that I find whilst bumping around this amazing country.  Much to learn, much to try! WOOHOO!  Any suggestions?  Post them here in the comments sections. Sayonara!
