In these times, why show video of gathering to drink absolutely terrific beer? Because, during these days of social distancing, it has perhaps NEVER been more important to support our Local, and our Local Craft friends. Many still offer curbside pickup; if your state allows it, order online and have it delivered; but our friends need us more than ever.
Our yearly tradition continues with an added bonus, a visit to Pennsylvania’s Mad Princes Brewing!
Once again, we celebrate where we’ve been in the vast landscape of American Craft. What we’ve seen, what we’ve sampled, and most importantly, the people we’ve met. What a year for us, with visits to states across the Union:
We also managed to accomplish the FIFTH beer in the Broadway Brews Project, a collaboration with Come From Away and Five Boroughs Brewing, to benefit the wonderful folks at Tuesday’s Children. Now streaming on the STAGE NETWORK!
2019 was a fantastic year, and 2020 looks incredibly exciting, with Mark winging his way across the USA on a National Tour, and Jimmy holding down the fort on the Eastern Seaboard. Can’t wait. Enjoy our lookback on a wonderful year.
Boise, Idaho. It’s a shibboleth! (Look it up.) And while you’re at it, make plans to GET YOURSELF TO BOISE, because you may not see these straight up terrific beers anywhere else. Born of sheer will, funk, sporadic spontaneous fermentation and barrel staves, the Barbarian Brewing flavor parade is long and ever changing. James Long and Bre Hovley are throwing a welcome series of curve balls in a world dominated by hops and haze. Follow the unicorns, folks - they’ll take you to amazing places.

A long awaited dream comes to fruition as The Guys make a stop in Cleveland, OH, to take in the sights, sounds and tastes of the Great Lakes Brewing Company. Not only were they the first brewpub in Ohio, but since 1988 (!!) they have led the industry in many other ways, and continue to do so to this very day. This is an amazing company with a loving past and a very, very bright future - we were overjoyed to visit. No one can claim to have knowledge of US Craft Beer history without a stop at Great Lakes. On Florida’s Treasure Coast, every now and then, gold washes up on the beach. And sometimes, it pours out of the taps! Walking Tree Brewery is barely 3 years old, and from local contests to national (GABF) their beers are winning medal after medal - very few startup craft brewers we've ever met have garnered this many accolades in such a short period of time.
As luck would have it, Vero Beach is also home to Riverside Theatre, where Jimmy just happened to be playing Henry Higgins opposite Kristen as Eliza Doolittle - and on this fine day, the cast and crew (and JAKE!) came out to help with the shoot. Join The Happy Hour Guys out by the former Naval Air Station, where this brewery, in the words of their bartending staff, "is taking names!"

We admit to being rather old school production types: We’d rather shoot first and do edits later.
